2010 saw the creation of Olly’s alias Revilo-D heading down a more techy route. Immediately signing with Mad-Hatter Records brought a pleasant surprise with “Someone said latin’ going straight to No.1 in the tech house charts.
2011 saw Revilo-D ‘Flyin Combo Ep’ on Limbo Records receiving huge support from FERGIE, PAUL VAN DYK, MARCO V, and PSYCATRON just to name a few. All tracks making it into the charts with RML storming to number 8 giving him another top ten. To finish the year off he made yet another debut with ‘Lift your Hands EP’ on “Dataworx Digital” a label, that needs no introduction, owned by DATAWORX that has laid down the work from artists such as NICE7, UMEK, HECTOR COUTO, and JAY LUMEN.
2012 got off to smashing start for Olly with his Revilo-D project breaking the ice with (EXCENTRIC FERGIES) ‘TRIBAL RAGE’, with two of his finest productions creating the ‘Jungle Freak Ep’ a great intro to the label. A mass of support came in from THE JAPANESE POPSTARS, DAVE SEAMAN, UMEK, KASIERDISCO, SPECKTRE, FLAVIO DIAZ, CRISTIAN VARELA and TOM HADES. Also catching the attention of Mr CARL COX as both tracks from the EP were showcased on his Global Underground show. Another great release came later in the year with ‘Shake the Room’ getting scooped up by the mighty NATURA VIVA.
The year brought about a massive change for Olly relocating to Melbourne, Australia ,where he instantly made friends in its renowned underground scene. Wasting no time, he was straight back into what he loves, hitting up releases on BAMBOO MUSIC and securing regular gigs at the infamous Revolver and also Brown Alley.
Now into 2014, Olly has started his own Imprint “Rawsum”, with a stream of releases ready to take us through the year and some exciting collaboration in the pipe line, Concentrating on House, the journey continues!
